Committee of commitment: Mass Atrocity Prevention
I'm Belgian but have lived in Germany, France, Canada & the UK. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in History (specialization Genocide studies) at Montreal’s Concordia University, I moved to the UK where I completed a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London and wrote my dissertation on post-conflict reconciliation in Rwanda. I now work as the Assistant to the director at the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies. Amongst other things, I manage MIGS' Media Monitoring Project, which is intended to provide early warning of mass atrocity crimes. I conduct research on mass atrocity prevention, advocate for better policies, and organize events related to the WIll toIntervene Project. I also write for the Huffington Post Quebec.
